A pig launcher and receiver are components used in pipeline systems for the launching and receiving of pipeline inspection gauges, commonly known as “pigs.” Pigs are devices that are inserted into a pipeline for various purposes such as cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining the pipeline. The pig launcher serves as the entry point for introducing the pig into the pipeline, while the pig receiver is positioned at the pipeline’s endpoint to retrieve the pig once it has completed its journey.
