GRIFFIN DIFFERENCE

Griffin installed the dewatering system on schedule and withing budget. Griffin continued to monitor the dewatering system throughout the project and made sure contractor was operating and maintaining the system properly.

THE CHALLENGE

Lowering groundwater 15 ft. below ground surface for an excavation of approximately 250 ft x 50 ft.

THE SOLUTION

A wellpoint dewatering system was installed surrounding the proposed excavation’s approximately 600 ft. perimeter. Griffin installed 85 wellpoints at approximate spacing of 7 ft. to a depth of 30 ft. One operating and one standby wellpoint pump were utilized for the project.
