GRIFFIN DIFFERENCE

Griffin successfully installed the dewatering and treatment systems. Through thorough communication with our clients, Griffin design and project management team, and on site Griffin personnel, Griffin achieved the required drawdown and treated for required VOCs and TSS and met the client’s needs.

THE CHALLENGE

Griffin Dewatering procured and managed subcontractors performing, pavement cutting, excavating, trenchplating, hydro-vac and spoils hauling. This project required working at night under an accelerated schedule and in very close proximity to a runway.

THE SOLUTION

Installation of wellpoint systems along excavated trenches and around the perimeter of the containment pit. In addition, two (2) treatment systems were mobilized to treat for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and total suspended solids (TSS). After treatment the water was routed to multiple discharge locations.
