GRIFFIN DIFFERENCE

Griffin has proven to be available, flexible, and customer-oriented since this project was initially planned. From design to operations, Griffin remained a responsive partner to the client to ensure a successful project.

THE CHALLENGE

The work required over 7ft. of drawdown in soil that consisted of layers of clay, silt and sand. The evolution of the construction plan required quick system adaptation to keep the project on schedule.

THE SOLUTION

After reviewing all possible dewatering options it was determined that wellpoint dewatering would be the most comprehensive and cost-effective solution. The system was equipped with an auto-dialer to alert all parties of a potential system interruption.

Griffin also provided dedicated backup pumps with auto-start capabilities, which would immediately start in the event of a primary pump failure. Griffin continued to work with the contractor to relocate pipe and road crossings allowing work to proceed in an uninterrupted fashion.
